Richard was the love of my life and Dad to our beautiful son. He was a devoted family man and
worked hard for us. Tragically, in late 2007, a virus attacked his heart which caused all of his
major organs to fail, and after 4 months in Intensive Care in Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Richard lost his fight with all of his family around him. Myself, our son Joe and our whole family
still miss him terribly over a year on, and if anyone would like to leave gifts or light a candle
for our big man, then please feel free to do so. Thank you.

I did not ever get the chance to meet you but your gorgeous fiancee Nic is a very special friend of mine. You created a handsome little man together and he lives on in you. You are sadly missed by all that knew you. Thinking of you and your family on what would have been an amazing and special birthday. Sweet dreams xx
